Objectif général
The protection of biodiversity, sustainable management of the rain forest, and the economic situation of the low-income local population in specific areas has improved.
Objectif spécifique
The population in the peripheral areas of the national parks of Kahuzi-Biega and Lomami has benefited from the sustainable human rights-based valorization of biodiversity and ecosystem services.

The preconditions for the protection and sustainable use of biodiversity and forest resources are improved.

Six partner communities implement 20 measures of local development plans, which can be assigned to the topics of biodiversity conservation and sustainable forest use.

In the peripheral areas of the national parks of Kahuzi-Biega and Lomami, the areas of sustainable and participatory landscapes have increased by 64.500 ha.
