Objectif général
To support essential anti-poaching activities including ranger training and installing a radio network in Zakouma, Chad. Savannah elephants on the northern extent of Central Africa were decimated in the years preceding 2008 but through recruiting able-bodied rangers, professional training, regular provision of supplies and improved effectiveness, poaching has decreased drastically and elephant numbers have stabilized.
