Marine turtle monitoring and protection in the Republic of Congo & support of the gorilla conservation project of ESI Congo

Objectif général

To support a conservation effort on the Republic of Congo’s coastline by protecting nests and nesting females from poaching and reducing bycatch mortality in artisanal fisheries. This project is intended to protect nesting leatherback and olive ridley turtles on Congo’s beaches as well as green turtles and hawksbill turtles in the sea.
