Objectif général
To continue community-based sea turtle conservation programs in the coastal area of the Republic of the Congo outside the Conkouati Douli National Park. The intent is to protect nests and nesting females from poaching and reduce sea turtle injury and mortality from artisanal fisheries.
Objectif spécifique
Training local village members to conduct daily patrols on three 10 km long nesting beaches (Bellelo, Djeno, and Mvassa) to count nests and prevent poaching;

Conducting environmental outreach with local villages;
Objectif spécifique
working with fishermen to ensure safe release of sea turtles accidentally captured in gill nets.
