Objectif général
To support conservation efforts in marine national parks and other management areas in Gabon. It conserves marine species, habitats and ecosystems by addressing the impacts of illegal fishing, which is the single greatest threat. Illegal fishing can include coastal trawlers, pirate tuna vessels and unlicensed artisanal pirogues.
Objectif spécifique
Equipping marine surveillance units with a full range of procedural manuals and associated materials to support the effective execution of marine surveillance and control missions;
Objectif spécifique
Training marine surveillance units to plan and execute safe and effective missions at sea and providing high quality information to support subsequent prosecutions;
Objectif spécifique
Producing solid legal cases for prosecution by having proficient legal teams of the target agencies able to apply sea mission data and reports.
