Objectif général
The purpose is to support community-based sea turtle conservation within Muanda Marine Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Objectif spécifique
Activities include community-led patrols on four nesting beaches to protect nesting olive ridley turtles, and leatherback habitats; coordination with local fishers to release turtles captured in fishing nets; and the implementation of education and awareness campaigns in local schools and communities.
