Equatorial Guinea 2014-2015: Sea turtle conservation in a rapidly changing country.
This project supports community-based conservation efforts at Bioko Island, which hosts one of the most important leatherback nesting populations in West Africa. The grant also supports the development of a marine turtle conservation program on important mainland nesting beaches at Punta Ilende Natural Reserve, Rio Campo Natural Reserve and Nendyi Scientific Reserve; and the implementation of nationwide environmental education outreach activities
