Objectif général
To establish a training program for specialized “lion” guards to help stabilize and protect the remaining lions and large carnivore populations in Cameroon.
Objectif spécifique
The project will develop a training program; train eight Lion Guards; enhance conservation of lions and large carnivores in the parks in North Cameroon; mitigate lion-livestock conflict on all project sites; and reduce poaching of lions and their prey on all project sites.
