The project builds upon current work supporting the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife’s (MINFOF) anti-poaching patrols and law enforcement management systems (i.e. MIST/SMART) by improving capacity of judicial authorities to implement wildlife law and regulations, building capacity of park staff to conduct law enforcement and ranger based monitoring, and engaging park staff and community members in collaborative park protection efforts.
