To support marine enforcement patrols by the Park to deter illegal foreign industrial fishing vessels, which are the cause of much of the sea turtle bycatch mortality within the Park. In addition, this project will conduct daily nest surveys and protection activities within the Park, work with local communities and fishers to minimize sea turtle bycatch from coastal gill net fisheries, and conduct marine patrols with a Park vessel to deter illegal industrial fishing within Park waters.
