Objectif général
To support efforts to protect nesting leatherback and Olive Ridley sea turtles along 12 miles of nesting beach adjacent to Conkouati-Douli National Park.
Objectif spécifique
This grant will enable the continuation of a turtle bycatch release program with local fisherman that releases approximately 1500 turtles annually. Environmental education and outreach programs will also be conducted with local communities.
