Objectif général
It supports the College’s capacity to design and deliver effective education and training programs on protected area management and species conservation. It conserves biodiversity in West and Central Africa by addressing the lack of national and regional conservation capacity.
Objectif spécifique
Provision of scholarships to diploma-level candidates working for protected area authorities and non-governmental organizations in the region;
Objectif spécifique
Facilitation of faculty development grants to enable faculty to address current gaps in the College’s curriculum and create new training initiatives to address emerging conservation threats,
Objectif spécifique
Supporting Garoua Wildlife College faculty to improve their understanding and practice on the implementation of CITES (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) and management of species in trade through Master’s degree training at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucia in Spain.
