Objectif général
To engage local communities in the protection of Great Apes around the Bakossi National Park.
Objectif spécifique
Résultat attendu
4 000 people from 10 forest communities are educated on the importance of Chimpanzee Conservation and 30 traditional leaders are actively involved in the conservation initiatives

10 community Chimpanzee education, protection and conservation Groups are created, trained and empowered;

A local Chimpanzee conservation strategy is developed and enforced;

20 chimpanzee hunters are assisted to become bee farmers in collaboration with PPI NGO CAMGEW;
Résultat attendu
10 nurseries of Prunus africana, NTFPs, cocoa and plantain are established for agro forestry practices promotion with the expertise of PPI NGO TF-RD.
