Objectif général
To improve the knowledge on the Príncipe Biodiversity, contributing to Support and update the Action Plan for the Príncipe Thrush, develop an Action Plan for the Obô Land Snail (Archachatina bicarinata, VU) and review the Management plan for PNP
Objectif spécifique
Résultat attendu
6 people (3 FPT staff, 2 PNP staff and 1 guide association member) are trained on bird and snail identification and with the capacity to implement regular biodiversity monitoring;
Résultat attendu
At least 1 scientific study conducted to update the status of the Birds and Land snails species in the PNP;
Résultat attendu
1 map of potential threats for Birds and Land Snails made in a collaborative consultation with the relevant stakeholders;
Résultat attendu
1 action plan is reviewed for the Principe Thrush and one action plan is developed for the Obo Land snail;
Résultat attendu
PNP Management Plan updated with information based on data collected during long term study.
